Daintree Ancient Giants

An easy walk exploring rainforest, beaches, swimming & lunch

in the heart of the oldest rainforest on Earth

We have been given access to the walking trails in this World Heritage private Rainforest Reserve, not accessible to the public. Journey through the coastal wonderland to one of the most lush and biodiverse valleys in Australia.  Come with us on a truly wild walk, exploring the ancient rainforest, stunning valleys, majestic mountains, crystal clear streams and pristine beaches of the Daintree.

Exclusive access.

Leaving Port Douglas, we travel north into the lush Daintree Rainforest, crossing the Daintree River by cable ferry, and soaking in the gorgeous views from Walu Wugirriga lookout on the Alexandra Range.

For our fascinating morning walk, we enjoy an easy wild wander along the Ancient Giants Trail on our private World Heritage rainforest reserve, through one of the most biodiverse valleys of the Daintree Rainforest.

We then indulge in a rejuvenating swim in the glorious natural Dragons Lagoon.
Followed by a magnificent and informative morning stroll down our favourite secluded Daintree beach, where the rainforest meets the reef, to the mouth of the river estuary.

To finish off the adventure, we enjoy a superb gourmet lunch in a rainforest restaurant.
